How Change Affect Them?

A new perspective of the working industry i've heard today
the story of a foreman/mechanic..

the era has been changing rapidly
from once, there is high demand on technical (more hands on industry) like mechanic and carpenter
during that time, lots of people are fighting into the school of life skills when they thought the demand is there so they should be safe in that field
then slowly/rapidly the demand shifted to field that involves writing (拃笔 zha bat in cantonense)
so this era students are moving into a more professional course like lawyer, accountant, business etc..
and finally now, we're now entering a new world of technology but the demand isn't much on IT but all about BRAIN (creativity and innovative)
ok this i can say it's more about experiences, design, ideas more than a single school or course

now the problem is that the world is changing too fast that certain era of people just can't cope with it
not because they're hard as rock or inflexible
but it's about the field they're in and the course they took at the beginning
the era of 'professionalism' is still able to survive because they're specialist and the market still needs them
I'm more concern about the first era i mentioned
this is what my sis' friend (the mechanic) told me
"anyhow we're still a degree holder but what we get now is totally different from what we expected during course registration. our salary can't even compare to promoters in mall and only foreigners are willing to come to this field now. so if we wanna find someone to pass the flag, there isn't any local staff we can rely on. We've already been suffering from competition with the same gang, now we're also suffering from the shortage of trust-able staff to pass on the skills, so if you have any friends who's interested in car or those have bad academic performance and might be keen on getting fix jobs, can introduce them to me and i would gladly pass him/her all the skills and maybe the whole workshop in the future"

can u identify the pain they facing?!
just because of the changing society and demands, the whole gang/era of people just like falling into a trap
here, we're living happily with the modernization or technology changes but another side people are struggling for future :(
kinda good area to look into when comes to research..

have a think

welcome to the world!
